The location of this property near the center of Puerto Jiminez and on the ocean with a view of the sea and the boats was perfect. Coffee on the porch with the fresh air was so relaxing. Accommodations were comfortable and spotless, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We booked last minute but I would book again in a heartbeat. The owners were very nice and greeted us promptly upon our arrival to answer any questions and explain the layout. The property is adjacent to a business for kayak rentals, which we did not use this time but have in the past, and that would be very convenient for travelers visiting who also want a kayak adventure. We were a couple, but the accommodations would be sufficient for a small family or group.

The place is incredibly amazing. Lots of flora and fauna around the area, comfortable rooms and perhaps most importantly, super friendly family hosting. The food they offer is grown in the area and it is strongly recommended. Super worth getting out of the main road and pay a visit to albergue La Laguna.

We saw soo much wildlife there, macaws, parrots, sloth, looots of toucans, lizards, monkeys etc. Richie and his wife were very friendly and helpful and showed us the animals and recommended us tours. I wish we could have stayed there longer :) our villa was spacious and the jacuzzi was soo nice after a long day of hiking
