This is a cute little cottage in a small courtyard right off one of the main historic streets. It's a great location - absolutely in the heart of that district and you're just a couple of minutes' walk from anywhere you would want to go. There's also a nice bakery/cafe next door. It's quite small but the space has been used in an ingenious fashion with the bathroom nipped out of the main living area downstairs. The main photo of this in the listing is quite alarming but in reality the glass is frosted over so you won't be flashing your bits to anyone in the living room. That said, you can hear everything so make sure you're comfortable with going to the loo a few feet away from whoever's sitting in that armchair. There's a small, well thought out kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker etc. Enough to create breakfast and a few snacks. The bedroom upstairs is nicely done out and the bed is a generous size and extremely comfortable. It's worth knowing that the stairs are very steep and the switch for lighting them is downstairs - you can't switch it on from the bedroom. We didn't find it a huge problem but others might. Overall, a good option and a nice chance to stay in the historic quarter at an affordable price.
