I expected something so close to the pier to be kind of dingy. Not the case at all. The room was clean and beautiful and the staff were kind and responsive. Great spot.

Such a beautiful little B&B in the perfect location on the island. We arrived much earlier than check in, but it was no bother to the hostess, who stored our luggage, and gave us a voucher to visit Dun Aengus. Breakfast was a delight, the bed was comfy, and the house is lovely. Couldn't ask for a better stay with a friendlier hostess.

Although the distance from the village to the house is quite long, especially if you’re already tired, there is a taxi service that you can use for a good price. The view is absolutely spectacular (I attached a pic of our room view(: ) and the rooms are very clean and cozy. Great value for money that’s for sure!SimonaYoung couple

Penny had organised for us to be picked up at the pier and she dropped our bags back to the pier for our departure so we wouldn't have to hold onto them all day. the view from our bedroom window was amazing

The location was perfect for us with Dun Aonghasa, the Wormhole & Kilmurvey beach all within a short distance from the lodge. Seán was a great host & was very forthcoming with information on the local area & arranging taxis for us into the village. Having the option to rent bikes at the lodge was an added bonus, great way to get around the island. Great views surrounding the lodge also & a very comfy relaxing area downstairs.

She gave us a map and showed us where everything was. She arranged bicycles for us and they were dropped to the accommodation. The breakfast was delicious everyday. There is an old dog called Zeuz who stays outside, he is very gentle and loves to be petted. Beds were comfy, shower was great. Location was away from noise but still close enough to travel in.
