Our host was so wonderful. So helpful and kind and has very good English which was great for help in understanding the area including the local onsen and temples. Our host was very easy to contact and was a great help with organising transport, shopping. The house is in a quiet area with beautiful well kept gardens and the natural landscape has such beauty. Guest house Yonemuraya was a pleasant surprise. It was so much better than staying at a hotel, as it felt like a more authentic Japanese experience. I travelled to Matsue for a conference at Kunibike Messe convention centre and this was only a short walk away. Emi-San was an excellent host, helping me with finding place for dinner, sightseeing and shopping ideas when I had time off work. There was a lively restaurant area nearby, and the train station, castle etc were within walking distance.

Absolutely beautiful view at both night and in the morning, I was shocked! Onsen came free with the stay. Zero complaints, the best stay of our trip around Japan.
