They helped us at every stage of our stay (notably taxi and tuktuk reservation, booking of activities). The room was great, with a confortable bed and a large bathroom. Pictures can't do the view justice - it is seriously amazing! Having breakfast on the roof deck was a highlight of our entire trip. The hosts were extremely kind and explained how to quickly walk into town and to the Ella Rock hike using the railroad tracks right behind the property. It was far enough from Ella town to be extremely peaceful, yet close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The room itself is quirky and has a lot of character, which we loved!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ella Country House. The room was spacious and the balcony was a dream! Having breakfast there and enjoying the beautiful view was a great way to start the day! The location is also great as it’s a quick walk to bars and restaurants but in a bit quieter, more relaxing part of town.

It is a beautiful place with lot of character and authenticity in the middle of nature. There was lot of rain in SL and the area that week so we could not enjoy the place fully, including the pool. If you are looking for quiet and peaceful place outside the busy Ella and in the middle of nature, this place is for you. The road to access is bit bumpy as advertised but the guest house can assist anytime to arrange tuk tuk. The owner and his family are very kind and took good care of us.
