Facilities are self catering offering everything you may need. Rooms are very spacious and each have their own bathroom. It is exceptionally clean and included a housekeeper every 3 days with a gardener daily. Host was very friendly and the house is great for a group of friends with a wonderful entertainment area.

This is a lovely property, near the sea and not far from the town centre. We were only there for one night so didn't use it to it's full capacity. It was clean, comfortable and everything we needed was available.

Henties Bay är ett litet samhälle och valmöjligheterna är inte så många. Huis Klipdrift är ett sk "self-catering" men det spelade ingen roll för oss, vi skulle bara övernatta. Men det är lätt att hitta till, bilen får en plats i ett låst garage och värdparet är helt underbara, som din egen morfar och mormor. Värdinnan är så rolig, hon har t ex en liten favorithöna som får sova i hennes sovrum! Rummet vi hyrde hade även ett stort kök (som vi inte använde, det ligger en utmärkt fiskrestaurang alldeles intill), och have spetsgardiner och små dekorationer. Mannen lagade en jättefin frukost, lika fin som de vi fick på betydligt dyrare hotell.

We visited Desert Rose as a family break-away. I was absolutely blown away by how wonderful and well-equipped it is. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment on the first floor (not ground) with minimal steps (I think about 10 steps), unit F12 (highly recommend this unit). The sunset view over the ocean was incredible, and I expect the view from the ground floor to be just as spectacular (given that the building is on a hill). A plus about staying on the ground floor would be immediate access to the grass/ocean area, whereas we had to walk around the corner for this access (which wasn’t a problem at all since it was a 30second walk). Outside: There was a braai with a “rooster”, as well as table and chairs. Inside: All the amenities listed, including comfortable couch and TV. It has sufficient cupboard space, so you can bring all the groceries you need and store it. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, and the fridge worked well and was spacious. There was also a mini deep-freezer (which we didn’t need), but it might come in handy for others. The rooms were spacious and the 2 bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a bath) were good (with warm hot good water pressure). The unit was very clean and we didn’t note any problems with this. We spent time at the spa area, specifically the jacuzzi. It was a nice touch. It’s clear that the jacuzzi is a bit dated, but still works 100%. The sauna seemed modern. I forgot my phone charger at the place and only realized it a few hours later. I contacted the property manager who checked and the cleaners had handed in my charger to reception. I managed to get it back without any issues! Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff members who immediately knew which unit was ours, and also helped carry our luggage and groceries to the room. I honestly cannot wait to return!

Amazing ocean & sunset view in a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. Clean and comfy accommodation with every thing you could need. Pet friendly which I appreciate. The host was lovely and helpful. Highly recommend, I even extended my stay and plan to go back soon!
