Amazing Art Deco furnishings and artefacts, so beautifully and lovingly put together! Laurie is a wonderful host, source of most interesting local info, nothing is too much trouble. Huge bowl of fruit and other goodies (cookies, milk, specialty coffees & other drinks) for us on arrival and everything was so very comfortable- the bed linen was superb! Wish we could have stayed longer! 😄

Just A maz ING !!! What a treat to stay. A wonderful welcoming place in the centre of Napier. Close by the sea, the beach, the beautiful boulevard, the restaurants and the shops. It immediately felt like home. Esther and Tom are the most lovely hosts, you’ll may experience. Nothing is too much trouble, just perfect in every way. Esther has amazing home cooking and fresh baking available for the mornings and afternoon. They are also full of local knowledge and trivia, if you need any recommendation for visiting places in the area. The house and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Fantastic bathrooms with walk-in shower, heated floors and luxurious toiletries. So many lovely things are presented, like homemade cakes or cookies when you arrive back at home in the afternoon. Freshly made, fruit salads, cakes, jams, and bread in the morning with the choice of either cooked or continental breakfast. Drinking tea or wine in the afternoon with all sorts of freshly made nibbles. Port and chocolates at bedtime. We’ve stayed at many 5 star accomodations in the world , but this place is so much more…… Words fail us; you have to see and experience it for yourself! Therefore, we would encourage anyone visiting Napier in New Zealand to treat themselves to this quintessential experience. Our stay at this luxury accomodation, 415 Marine Parade was definitely one of the most memorable stays of our holiday in New Zealand. Lisa was so welcoming and friendly, she was the perfect host. The unit was immaculate and spacious, and very modern. There was even a rainhead shower option. Bed was comfortably firm and there is a heat pump in the room if needed. Breakfast was already prepared and included a variety of options. Highly recommended!

Had some bad luck as Cyclone Gabrielle hit right when we were staying here. Power was out, there was no cell reception and Napier was completely cut-off (there was no way in or out of the city). Greg and Wendy were extremely accommodating and gracious hosts, letting us stay at the apartment 2 days past our booking dates with no prior notice and providing us with a radio so we could stay informed. They were incredibly kind hosts during a very stressful period of our holiday! On top of that, having spent a lot of time in the apartment (as there was not much else to do during the power outage), it is a truly great place to stay. A very cosy apartment, tastefully decorated within the art deco theme Napier is known for and stocked with plenty of board games and other amenities to keep you entertained and to ensure a pleasant stay. Additionally, upon arrival we found that there was a spiced bread, jellies and butter waiting for us, which was a very nice touch. 100% would stay again!
