The location and the property are lovely, but what makes this a REALLY special stay is the warmth of the welcome. We were greeted with a local liquor, and breakfast this morning was delicious and abundant, with the hosts really taking care of us..it was like being one of the family.

Beautiful B&B located 10 minutes by car from Obidos in quaint, charming, and quiet village with views overlooking the lagoon from rooftop terrace. Architecture/interior design/landscaping lovely - has a "boutique" lodging kind of feel. Hosts gracious, friendly, and helpful with restaurant recommendations and free parking location in Obidos and lagoon beach. Double bed very comfortable. Breakfast included the most delicious oranges I ever ate from trees right on property! Easy, free parking right outside on street. Highly recommend, would stay again.

The owner waited for us for almost an hour. He welcomed us with warm greetings and intruduced the place. It is a lovely home and the kitchen is beautiful and stylish. The pool is not big but very enjoyable espcially during the sunset. Very beautiful and peaceful place. 5 star recommended!

Great apartment with a view of the old walled city. The host and his son were unbelievably welcoming and informative about the apartment, the city and the area. My husband and I each had motorcycles and this was our first stop in Portugal. Turns out the owner is also a fellow rider and provided us with so many great places and details for the rest of our journey. I think we went to almost all of them! Space was clean and well organized, wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend a stay here.

The wall walk around Óbidos was worth it and the best of the many walled villages we visited. The atmosphere touristy but not over the top. We felt welcomed wherever we went. Dinner at the Literary Man Hotel was excellent. After five weeks in Portugal we realized that we had been served no mediocre wine and all cheese was found good. The lesser of all wine was the €3 bottle from the grocery store but what else was I to expect.

Very central location, we enjoyed watching the tourists walk below. We had a relaxing stay. Comfortable bed, though no fan / AC so a bit hot. Well equipped kitchen (no oil / salt though). Other rooms are upstairs but guests were quiet after 11pm. There is a large free car park just outside the walls.
