We love the historical feeling of the castle and the apartment. It is well decorated with good taste. We also love sitting outside when the weather is good. We chose the rainiest days of the summer to stay at the house, but I’m glad we did! The house is lovely, large and comfortable. It has a smart tv with all the streaming services and even loads of English tv channels. Wifi is also great for doing some work. Beds were extremely comfortable (and we’re quite critical). But what made our stay even more great was that Johan went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He brought us a large umbrella, gave us tips on local sights and his wife even brought us homemade pasties. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Loved the location, short walk to everything we were there to see and do. Very clean and newly remodeled. Everything we needed. Right along the river with an excellent restaurant next door for dinner.
