It's the perfect place to unwind with a lovely scenery and quiet surroundings. Everything was very clean. Zofija is a great host, she's kind and welcoming and makes a really good vegetarian breakfast. There's also a restaurant for dinner in walking distance.

Location is amazing, so much peace in one place. The owners are sweethearts, apartment is excellent, tidy and just perfect. You have everything you need, plus delightful nature. Highly recomended for nature lovers!! Best place I ever been.

Apartment is amazing, beautiful, and equipped with all what you need. Cabin have amazing decoration to include all details to make your vacation to be comfortable, peaceful and exciting. The kitchen is well organized and have all the equipment you need. The view outside is so beautiful, quiet and within the heart of the nature The host Igor and Snezna will make sure you have all what you need, willing to assist, guide and fill any information required It is definitely one of our best apartment we had during the last years and for that the score will be 10 !!! We loved everything about Riverhouse. We were met by Breda who gave us a tour of the house. The kitchen has absolutely everthying and anything you can think of including all utensils, pots, pans, glasses, plates, mugs and a very good sandwitch toaster. Breda ensured there were snacks and drinks ready for us. There was also extra oil and an huge range of spices. The bathrooms had the usual supplies but extras of anything including afershave and creams. The washing machine/dryer is very easy to use and again a stain remover proved handy and also a clothes rack for drying. The bathrooms are new and well oragnized and the bedrooms were more than adequate for five including three tall teenagers. Having said all that the true charm of the place comes from the garden which is a very large expanse including an amazing outdoor kitchen which we used all the time. The outdoor kitchen is very well supplied, very well decorated and icludes a gas barbecue which came very handy. We sat for hours outside just listening and watching the river that flows in a constant stream at the edge of the garden. After a long day hiking just to cool your feet off in the river is amazing. Anton and Breda and vey generous and forthcoming hosts. Having read reviews all of the above was as described by others. Our biggest surprise was Preddvor. The town lies at the foot of the most beautiful mountains. It is off the usual tourist list and you can do many hikes starting from River house. Use the website for Preddvor travel which details in English the numerous hikes in the area. We went up Javorov and came through St Jakobs church where a cafe serves amazing strudel. We had spent time in the Triglav national park which is stunning but it was teeming with tourists from all over Europe. On the hikes around Preddvor we encouneterd mainly locals and on the mainy road is a superb bakery. If you are looking for beauty, tranquility, and outstanding outdoor garden and kitchen the this is your stop.

Our stay at this apartment was a highlight of our trip, perfectly located just 30 minutes from both the enchanting Lake Bled and the vibrant capital, Ljubljana. The apartment itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and featured a stunning terrace with breathtaking views. The host's warmth and attentiveness added a special touch to our experience. Highly recommended for those seeking a comfortable and scenic base to explore the beauties of Slovenia!

Had such a lovely weekend here. We came the last weekend of March and split our time hiking and skiing. Although it was the last weekend for skiing (hence very slushy conditions), the location between the nearby resort of Krvavec and nearby mountains for hiking was ideal. The room was spacious and clean. Although the hotel is on a main street, everything was very quiet. They have a lovely dining room where we had delicious breakfast and dinner. They also have an outside patio that is perfect for Spring and Summer. Additionally, there is ample parking. I will definitely return!
