Firstly, the hosts were obviously looking out for me. I came from Popradske Pleso via the Koprova Dolina trail and heard a voice calling me - a man who obviously helps to look after the place. He then phoned the property so that someone would be standing at the entrance. The woman who gave me the keys was very friendly and helpful and the room was superb. I have heard people worried about the glass door but, it would only be a problem if going to the kitchen half naked! There is a normal door to hide the bathroom and bedroom from view! Location is superb for Kryvan but also, for returning on foot to Poland via the Ticha Valley and Kasprowy Wierch (my own route)

Pretty, clean, comfortable and spacious place. It had everything I needed for my stay. There is a drying rack to dry your clothes after coming back from a hike and the kitchen is moderately well equipped so you can prepare a meal efficiently.

There was a balcony with a really nice view - Kriváň itself :) The location of the property is perfect if you want go hiking to Kôprová dolina and Temnosmrečinské plesá, or to Kriváň, but otherwise it is quite far from Štrbské pleso or the other village Podbanské.
