Kim from the frontdesk was amazing, very lovely, helpful and friendly. She provided us an itinerary for rainy days which was nice. We received a free upgrade to a room with bathtub. The room was 1 hour before check-in time ready. It was located at the end of the corridor and was quiet, no noise from the corridor or neighbors. It was very clean, the bathroom equipped with a Japanese toilet and linnen also. Beds are very comfortable (for European standards), size is about 160 x 200 cm and we loved the black out curtains. AC worked perfectly and quiet. Western and Asian breakfast available which is different every day, not too much choice but just enough. At the breakfast area you can get free snacks and tea/water throughout the day. Free umbrella service available for rainy days. Recommended!

The most standout feature of this homestay is its people. The owners genuinely care about this lifestyle business, and will go out of their way to work things out for you. They helped us plan our trips around Alishan, offered to ride us around the area, and even sent my belonging to my next hotel when I had accidentally left it behind upon checking out. Everyone is warm and friendly, I really enjoyed it here.
