Breakfast was excellent and lovingly prepared by Janet. Janet and Jen was kind and friendly. I saw snow for the first time and I was delighted! Overall the experience was brilliant. I just got back from a winter trip to Algonquin Provincial Park. The Lakewood Cottage is super close to the park west entrance. I stayed in the studio unit, which's small, but it had everything I needed. The unit was super clean, well-equipped, and the staff was nothing but attentive and kind.

The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The lake was warm which was great for swimming, canoeing and kayaking with the supplied boats. Stacey and her team were responsive and great hosts.

The fenced in yard was great for our 2 dogs. The access to the paved walking/biking trail that runs behind the property was great. We really enjoyed riding the bikes provided by the cottage on that trail. The cottage comes with a hot tub and sauna that we enjoyed each night. The overall property was clean and well kept which made for a very comfortable stay.
