The two most important things to me are the helpfulness of the owner and the comfort of the accomdiations and I give 5* rating on both measures. Berna is a lovely lady and provides lots of good advice and excellent recommendations. The property is her old family home and has a genuine Spanish appeal with a combination of wood and tile providing a very warm atmosphere. Guests have the full use of the kitchen to prepare their own meals and a dedicated shelf in her fridge. The bedroom was comfortable with a separate entrance to a front patio overlooking lush landscaping. The property has a solid wooden door at the front proving excellent security. Berna has a deep concern for her guests. I was a bit late coming home one evening and she messaged me to make sure I was OK. Fantastic vale for the quality that Casas Irazu offers guests. Thank you Berna for your kindness and hope we meet again.

Villas Orosi Valley features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Orosí, 10 km from Jardin Botanico Lankester. It is very comfortable, the service is excellent, and being located in the main town of Orosi, you can visit the Tapantí Reserve, as well as other places. We will definitely be back!

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Finca Tres Equis - Farm and Forest offers accommodation in Tres Equis. Free private parking is available on site. Cabin is much more spacious than on the photo. All the necessary things for cooking, huge breakfast(lasted for us for two another two days). Our boys played with a local family kid toys who lives there. Very welcoming and accommodating host. Perfect place to have runs and very nice village on the other side of the road with big supermarket, carniceria and panaderia.

Set just 46 km from Ujarras Ruins, The Lodge at Reventazon River Mountain Ranch offers accommodation in Turrialba with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Imagine driving up and up a mountain to arrive at your own cottage with outstanding views of the clouds, town and distant mountain range (and volcano). The accommodation is outstanding with a wonderful Tica vibe (we stayed in the Toucan Cottage). The bed and shower are really good, with a small efficiency kitchen for those interested in a longer stay. The breakfast was served in a common area, it too was lovely, tropical and delicious.

Offering an outdoor pool, a garden and free WiFi in all areas, Finca Queveri is located 20 minutes' drive from Orosí, surrounded it by the National Park Tapanti. What a magical few days we had in this beautiful 90 year old farm house with the most mesmerising views and the best hostess one can ask for. She made us fresh and nourishing four course meals with Utmost care for our dietary preferences. Not just that, she was so amazing with my four year old son. She got him to do nature inspired artwork that made for the most memorable souvenirs and also got him to help in the kitchen making empanadas, he had an absolute blast! Nothing was too much to ask. All in all it felt like we were visiting a close relative who pampered us with loving food and so much joy. We didn’t want to leave! Thanks to her we had one of the most amazing stay in all of our travels. Must visit place in Costa Rica.

Set in Turrialba in the Cartago region, Olly´s House has a balcony. We liked the design of the peoperty a lot :) Everything went perfect, very nice hosts living next door ready to help in whatever you need.

Set just 37 km from Jardin Botanico Lankester, Ledy's Inn provides accommodation in Turrialba with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. The apartment was very close to the center of town, but tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Great location!
