Hostel Charino bevindt zich in Pontevedra, op 30 km van Haven van Vigo, en biedt conciërgediensten, allergievrije kamers, een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en een terras. Het was allemaal zo fijn daar. Hartelijke ontvangst en (een dag later) dito afscheid van de eigenaar en zijn moeder. Alle faciliteiten zijn top en de kamer was super luxe. Bedankt voor een geweldig verblijf.

Really nice clean comfortable room with nice sheets & good beds. Generous breakfast buffet with pastry, toasts, cheese, deli meat, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Nice common area with kettle to boil water and table & chairs to sit and spend time outside of room.

LA PUERTA DE ARZÚA bevindt zich in Arzúa, op 39 km van Kathedraal van Santiago de Compostela, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een bar. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were really clean and had everything you needed including a great shower and a smart TV. A great breakfast too! A lovely place to stay just outside Arzua.

A BOA ESTRELA ligt in Redondela, op 15 km van Haven van Vigo, en biedt versneld in- en uitchecken en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. This is a great stop for a night in the Camino. The property is very nice exceptionally clean and one of my best nights sleep as the bed was so comfortable. The decor was so lovey it felt fresh and new with crisp gorgeous bedding. It was also great to have a washing machine and dryer. The owner also had tea coffee and biscuits which was a nice touch. I would defiantly recommend this place.

Gandarela Turismo Rural in Ourense biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de bergen, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, een restaurant en een bar. This must be the most spectacular hotel in our 10 Hotel trip ! This place simply has everything <3 as you approach, you find yourself on the banks of a river and a pretty Romanesque chapel greets you. You drive on as you enter a wood which stretches along the bank of the river. You drive on a small road, with no problems, and enter the property. The carpark leads to a lawn with lovely plants and a front garden overlooking the river. The view is beautiful. We were greeted by the host who explained to us the story of the place and bit about the family business of wines. He showed us to our room. The building itself is rustic in style but exquisitely renovated with all modern amenities, and so much elegance and 'buen gusto'. The room was a dream, furnished in a rustic, minimalistic fashion, with delicate and relaxing lighting . Such a big room with a balcony sprawling onto the garden and the river. Below and beyond the property, the wood continues, and offers a lovely stroll along the bank of the river. Thankfully we had also booked dinner at the property. At night the garden lawn on the river was turned in a candlelit restaurant. We were offered a superb dinner cooked by the hostess herself, who is a qualified chef, in her own right. This meal was in itself a wonderful experience, and offered great value for money. The atmosphere it offered, the view, even at night, being a full moon, the delicate goodness of the fare, the wine which was from their own Bodega, made it a night to remember. The breakfast, served in an elegant manor style dining room consisted of freshly baked bread from their kitchen, home made jams and other products. Congratulations to this beautiful couple who turned this old property into a piece of heaven on earth !

Very clean, spacious rooms, kind staff, laundry service is 600m from the hotel, very good restaurants and cafes nearby. We booked the place for 2 nights after completing Camino de Santiago and enjoyed a good rest.
