In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. We did a last minute booking. When we arrived there Mirela greeted us. She is one of the most fantastic host you can have. Since the beginning of our stay she was always helpful and helped us more than we can ask. Bedroom was good, with a very comfy double bed and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was top quality, with a generous amount of food. Overall, 5 star place to stay. Completely recommended. We will come back without hesitation.

Fantastic and very clean apartment. Had great appliances, including a washer and dryer. Great location as well.

Distillers house has been refurbished with great care and love for details. (The railings in the hallways alone are so beautiful that I would have gladly stayed in the hall. 😄) Our apartment had the most beautiful bathroom and a shared kitchen/sitting room/bedroom with wooden floors and a very impressive corniced ceiling. It was perfect for self-catering, however, there are so many shops and pubs just outside that you’ll easily sth. delicious within a few minutes walk. Haymarket (train station) is just 4 minutes on foot, and alle the major sights of Edinburgh are 20’ on foot away - of if you don’t fancy walking, you can catch the tram 🚃 just outside the door.
