I live in Iceland and will definitely be returning and now I recommend this to every travel I made itineraries for :) Also we saw amazing northern lights!

Amazing property and the owner is super nice! We loved waking up to the tranquil sound of the waterfall and sheep on the mountain in the morning.

Matatanaw ang Lake Mývatn, nag-aalok ang camping site na ito ng mga cottage na may wooden floors, private bathroom, at terrace. The cottage was HYGGE! completely cosy and perfectly decorated, with a beautiful view out the front windows. The kitchen was fully equipped. We loved it here!

Everything about this homestay was amazing, the location ,bird sanctuary, amazing colours of the plants all around the house, Beautifully decorated inside and out, you could not but love staying in this beautiful homestay, We had beautiful freshly baked bread waiting when we arrived, This is a must stay if you are visiting Myvatn, There was 4 of us staying and we all loved loved it, Lovely balcony.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Reykjahlíð, Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 features a garden. Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!

Offering a garden and mountain view, Aska, Modern Cabin is located in Myvatn, 5.2 km from Myvatn Nature Baths and 49 km from Godafoss Waterfall. Fantastic modern cabin, cosy, great location, fantastic breakfast, highly recommend. Loved the outlook onto the lava field, on the lake circuit and close to many attractions in the area.

Eldá Guesthouse is located in Reykjahlíð, just a few minutes on foot from Lake Myvatn. There is a golf course 750 metres from the property. Each room includes a work desk, a wash basin and free WiFi. Very clean, great shared kitchen, bedroom large and comfortable. The staff is amazing especially Monika who helped me pay a parking fine. She went above and beyond being helpful. A really lovely person that helped me and made my stay so nice.

Nag-aalok ng shared kitchen/lounge at mga tanawin ng bundok, ang Skútustadir Guesthouse ay makikita sa isang farm sa timog na baybayin ng Lake Mývatn. Libre ang WiFi at paradahan. We absolutely loved staying here. The guesthouse is lovely, the kitchen is huge and room was basic but still felt very cosy. We saw the northern lights perfectly, what a great location! There was also 2 farm dogs running around, who were so friendly and cute! The free breakfast in the morning was amazing as well. This is probably our favourite guest stay in Iceland! Highly recommend!
