The family-run Vogafjos Guesthouse is set in a unique natural environment on the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn. It offers rooms with a patio and free Wi-Fi. The room was so cozy and comfy! I live in Iceland and will definitely be returning and now I recommend this to every travel I made itineraries for :) Also we saw amazing northern lights!

Situated in Akureyri, within 34 km of Godafoss Waterfall and 6.3 km of Hof - Cultural Center and Conference Hall, North Mountain View Suites features accommodation with a terrace as well as free... Favourite hotel that I stayed in during my Iceland trip. Full length glass windows with views of mountains in the distance. 2 bedroom Suite – Master bedroom and smaller room with 2 single beds. Beds were so comfortable and quilt was fluffy and warm. Suite had private soaking tub overlooking snow capped mountains 😊 There was a kitchenette and barbeque grill – it would have been lovely to have a BBQ in the midst of this beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Hotel had a good buffet breakfast spread.

Tjörn 1 is a recently renovated guest house in Hvammstangi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property features mountain and garden views. Absolutely lovely place, it has such tastefully decorated interiors that I fell in love with the place. I highly recommend it to anyone that's in the area.

Featuring a hot tub, Bakkakot 3 Cozy Cabin In The Woods is located in Akureyri. A hot tub is available for guests. The bungalow was very comfortable and cosy, located in the woods. Fairytale and very romantic place. There is a queen size bed, video option with movies, table and small kitchen inside. The bathroom was enough big. We will recommend for dinner the Eyri restaurant on the lake, only 10 minutes away from the property. It´s a gourmet one (higher price level) but all very tasty with an excellend wine choice. Near Akureyri we will highly recommend also to visit the Forest Lagoon (thermal baths).

Sólheimagerði Guesthouse is located in Varmahlid. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Fantastic place. Best stay we have had in Iceland. Loved the views.
