Located in Sandgerði village, these basic wooden cottages are a 10-minute drive away from Keflavik Airport. Free WiFi is available. I like the whole concept - little lovely private houses as a room to stay. Shared kitchen and bathrooms, all very well equipped and clean. Comfortable to use. The place is located near airport, which was the main reason we chose this place. It was clear that for others it was the same. At 8.30 in the morning all the cars had left already and we had a nice private breakfast :) They had a hot pool as well but not in use. Maybe it's used in a summertime? Would have loved to have a nice morning dip there but they have a collaboration with local pool for their guests instead. We didn't have the extra time to go there, would have enjoyed the quick dip in the premises.

Sol apartment mempunyai pemandangan laut, WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma di Keflavík, 20km dari Blue Lagoon. We really enjoyed the stay at Sol.. it was our first time in Iceland and the property owners were more than happy to explain and help us with our stay. It was very unfortunate that the day we arrived the water pipes got affected because of the volcanic eruption so we didn’t get any hot water during the stay. But that’s one event that made our stay memorable and a thing to remember. We’ll be definitely coming back. Cheers guys.

They went above and beyond to help me track down a bag that I had left behind at a restaurant in Reykjavik, they even considered tracking someone down who could bring the bag to me. Also, because of the weather, we changed our arrival time and Ludvik was very accommodating even though he wasn't quite ready for us.

Located 39 km from Reykjavík, Comfort and Rest offers accommodation in Sandgerdi. Comfort and Rest features views of the sea and is 8 km from Keflavík. Our stay at Comfort and Rest was phenomenal. The host was extremely friendly and responsive. She really thought of everything. The apartment is just a beautiful as the pictures and very well stocked. The hot tub was even ready for us when we arrived. The location is perfect, close to the airport and on very tip of the beautiful Reykjanes Peninsula. The sunset view of the ocean was incredible. We stayed here for one night at the end of our trip and we only wish we had stayed here at the beginning as well instead of in downtown Reykjavik.
