Beautiful Yurtel in a great location between the Gullfoss and the Geysir. We were driving the highland road F35 afterwards, so the location was great for our purposes. The Yurtel are very comfortable inside, like a 4* hotel room. There was even a tea cattle with tea bags inside - which is great at the end of the day. The beds are very comfortable. Living among the nature and waking up in the morning and stepping outside for an amazing view to the glacier, the grassland, to the sun standing low is such a wonderful memory for us. There are toiletts and showers near the Yurtel 1, where the breakfast is served. Behind the Yurtel 1 live some wild rabbits, who don't go away - saw them in the evening and in the morning. The breakfast was very nice, there was Skyr, fruit, toast with ham, 3 sorts of marmelade and cheese and I think boiled eggs, and of course coffee and tea. We loved everything about our stay. Also nice that you can visit the Geysir and the Gullfos in the morning, if the wheather was bad last day. On the way to the Yurtel we visited the Secret Lagoon - very nice there, highly recommended, with not so high prices compared to others (50% of the Myvatn Nature baths, and is just as nice or better).

It was one of our favourite places we stayed during our whole vacation.

Situated in Vík, Vík Apartments provides accommodation 300 metres from Black Sand Beach and 34 km from Skogafoss Waterfall. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. Great location, very comfortable apartment.

Silke and Stefan where excellent hosts. Everything provided for a comfortable stay in iceland. Really excellent base for exploring the all the sights of the south. A real home from home for our family when staying in iceland.

Lækjaborgir Guesthouse is located in Kálfafell, 26 km east of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Our cottage was pretty small for 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids), but it was super cute and cozy, well equipped and clean. For one night stay it was perfect. Recommended!

Offering a sun terrace and views of the sea, Black Beach Suites is situated in Vík in the South Iceland Region. Reynishverfisvegur Beach is within 4 km of the property. Free WiFi is available. Very nice hotel, modern and equipped with everything necessary. Very close to the Black Beach, great view. Even the folding couch makes a great bed and kids had Netflix and adults - chocolate.

The Garage has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Varmahlíð, 14 km from Skogafoss Waterfall. With lake views, this accommodation features a patio. Super cute and well equipped facility, very kind host, absolutely clean, good beds, beautiful view. A hot tub available.

Árbakki Farmhouse Lodge asub Geysirist 18 km ja Gullfossi joast 28 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on kuumaveeallikate vann ja tasuta eraparkla. Majutusasutuses on ühisköök ja piknikuala. The owner is very kind, gentle. House is nice, clean and good view.

This farm property offers a restaurant, small bar area, lounge and terrace. Public area Wi-Fi and parking are free. Breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of varieties, good quality food. Refills were prompt and abundant. Room was nice. Even though it's shared toilet and shared bathroom, there were of good quality and cleanliness. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Sufficient car park.
