This was the best place we stayed at our trip. We ate at restaurant nearby and the portions there were huge so we recommend that also. ☺️ the views were stunning and we woke up when birds started to sing. Everything was clean and bed was comfortable.

Set in Fludir, in a building dating from 1993, Skyggnir Bed and Breakfast offers a garden and guestrooms with free WiFi. Featuring a shared lounge, this property also provides guests with a terrace. We arrived and the super nice and friendly host welcomed us in the guesthouse. He gave us very useful hints for our travel and we had a very nice conversation. The guesthouse is put together with a lot of thoughts and love. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need, the decoration tells you a lot about Iceland and once you step into the house, you get a feeling of home. The location is also great, just a few min from the next village (with the secret lagoon). It is dark there in the night, so perfect to see the northern lights. The room we had, was quiet small, but just large enough to open all the language. It had comfortable hangers and a heater for we cloth and the bed was super comfortable. In short, we were super happy with our stay and that for a very very good price!

The most luxurious suites with such an amazing view. We had the best time here, really convenient having a stove and being able to cook dinner to have a break from eating out every night. TV with netflix access, lovely sized bathroom with great features. Nespresso coffee machine was great along with added extras like salt and pepper, oil etc. Would love to stay again in the future.

The Garage has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Varmahlíð, 14 km from Skogafoss Waterfall. With lake views, this accommodation features a patio. Everything about this place was perfect! So cosy, room was very spacious. Very warm, and the bathroom had the nicest underfloor heating. Hot tub with a view of the waterfall was great after a day of exploring. Owners were very friendly and even had cake on arrival! Couldn't recommend this place more!

Hvammból Guesthouse is a small, family-run guest house situated 10 km from Vík. This place is perfect! The kitchen has everything you need, we don’t have time to cook. But if you want cook it is a good choice! And the room is nice and clean! I saw the north light at night.

Árbakki Farmhouse Lodge offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 18 km of Geysir and 28 km of Gullfoss Waterfall. Beautiful place very nice people taking care of Us Hayley recommended place You will love it!

This farm property offers a restaurant, small bar area, lounge and terrace. Public area Wi-Fi and parking are free. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was great. For dinner, you can cook by yourself or having dinner in their restaurant. Kids love sheeps and hens. Perfect choice for family trip.
