The owner is one of the nicest and warmest people I have met. The bed was even nicer than that of a much more expensive ryokan. The train ride to the guesthouse was scenic, the location of the accommodation is perfect, the eateries nearby are all good. The place itself was spotless with a really nice shower room. Everything was perfect. I can't recommend it enough.

The host was a beautiful Gem of a woman who I just connected with, she has a good sense of humor and she honestly goes out of her way to make you feel at home , I highly recommend this place easy! Wifi brilliant, parking on-site, shower awesome, fridge great, bedding awesome, TV great and room was huge !! Air con worked awesome, 💪, and I would go back again easily ! ( And I'm eating more vegetables now 😀)...

Berjarak 12 menit berjalan kaki atau 3 menit naik bus dari pintu keluar utara Stasiun JR Kochi, Katsuo Guest House menawarkan kamar-kamar asrama bergaya Jepang dengan AC. Maki was so friendly, welcoming and helpful! She recommended local restaurants for dinner, and invited me to join the tacoyaki party they were having that evening. The 8 bed dorm was lovely- gorgeous wood beds and cool decor. The beds were comfy and private. I was lucky since there were only 4 of us in the room, but I think it would be spacious enough even if it were full. Definitely the nicest guesthouse I’ve stayed at in Japan.

Just beside the Aso Submersible Bridge. The quality of the house is so excellent that it is too underrated and the photos don’t do justice. The actual house seems to be so better and witty visiting.
