We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay at the JamboHouse. Arnold welcomes you with a series of recommendations and a welcome drink. The room is cozy, internet and water are working. We were grateful for the information about local restaurants and activities that can be arranged. We did both the sunset walking tour and the dhow sunset tour and enjoyed both of them very much. The view from the terrace is very nice and the breakfast is spectacular. Thank you once again for everything. If we are back in Lamu, we will definitely stay here again.

Shela is amazing all around, but I know that starting my journey at the Jua House was a major contributor to make this one of the most special travel experiences in my life. Jua is more than a hotel, it’s a point for travelers to meet and make friends. I met wonderful people here who became my Jua family and will be with me for life. the rooms are beautifully decorated, spotless clean, common spaces are awe inspiring, the breakfast is delicious, and above all, the staff is beyond kind. Eddy baked delicious fresh bread every day, Chai always welcomed me with a warm smile, and Amani became a brother that I can’t wait to see again. Jua is a paradise within a paradise.

This historical Arabian-style building is located in the UNESCO-listed town of Lamu. It is less than 300 metres from the seafront and 3 km from the white sandy beach. Beautiful, historic building with genuine efforts to be ecologically sustainable eg no plastics etc Outstandingly friendly and helpful hosts and staff. Really well-prepared and sourced organic food eg home-made breads, jams, yogurt etc, often from their own permaculture "samba".

The house is a beautiful gem within old lamu town. The architecture is stunning, the rooms are freshened by fans and the pool is great to escape the day’s heat. The house staff is incredibly helpful and Peter was a great caretaker. We would also warmly recommend arranging a tour of the old town and of shela, as well as a boat tour if one wishes, with Abu. Abu is knowledgeable and loves his job; he is a great storyteller and a great artist (ask to see his recycled art). Walking around Lamu with him and learning about this unique place from him was a wonderful experience.

Set 300 metres from Lamu Fort, Beytsalam offers accommodation with a shared lounge, a terrace and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Complimentary WiFi is offered. Breakfast was really nice, with a choice between Swahili and English style and it was served on the cozy rooftop terrace with views of the sea. I was lucky to be upgraded to their spacious and well-appointed "executive" suite on the third floor. Omar and Lilian were great to deal with at breakfast and with laundry etc., I appreciated the help they provided in many ways and look forward to coming again.

Swahili Dreams Apartments มอบบริการที่พักซึ่งอยู่ในลามู โดยอยู่ห่างจาก Gallery Baraka 400 ม. และห่างจาก Riyadha Mosque 600 ม. The design in this property is amazing, beautiful. The indoor pool is exquisite. The staff was excellent and the apartments large and comfortable.

Authentic Swahili style villa Milele House ให้บริการสระว่ายน้ำและลานระเบียง โดยมีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ในลามู ห่างจาก Lamu Fort 200 ม. This villa was gorgeous, in the historic Swahili style of Lamu. We had the loveliest time here. The location is relatively quiet though you are in the middle of town - we walked everywhere easily. There is also good Wi-Fi which was great for us as we were working remotely on some of the days. The rooftop has a lovely breeze and sitting area where the Wi-Fi reaches. There is also a very nice sitting area around the small pool. Jamhuri, who welcomed us on arrival, was friendly and easy to communicate with. With enjoyed every moment of our stay and I would definitely return again.
