Located in the Gangwon Province, Heidi K. Haus offers accommodation with outdoor barbecue facilities, green lawns and children's playground. Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. We stayed four nights, with day trips to the Gangchon Rail Park, Alpaca World, and Nami Island. This place was recommended by friends and I'm so glad we decided to stay here. John and his wife were really kind and took very good care of us. Rooms were clean and neat. Hot water flowed freely during bathtime and we drank cold water straight from the tap. For the most part, we felt like we were visiting grandparents who kept feeding us. We skipped the Vivaldi Ski Park only to discover Pallbong-san was closed for the winter, but John got us four gimbap, brought us to a nearby service road up a small peak, and sent us on a short hike (that incline!). We still got to muck around in the mud and leaves on the way up. Our sons (9 and 7) enjoyed the outdoors, helping John build campfires, playing with his wife's dog, and generally just running around the property screeching like banshees and dipping into John's store of firewood and kindling as he looked on indulgently (city kids don't get campfires much). The charcoal barbecue most reviews mention was a highlight, as was (for me anyway!!) cooking kimchi ramyeon with actual kimchi in a pot on a stove in a proper pension in the Korean countryside. I saved the receipt from our trip to the mart to buy ingredients too, it's going into my journal. Thank you John and Mrs Lee for your hospitality, we will not forget it. p/s For runners, there's a short out and back - just follow the pavement that starts at one of the roads in front of the property (the road after the tunnel, you'll see when you get there) to the end. A round trip took us about 40+ minutes? We called it 6plus-7km. A pleasant enough route.

Terrace on the Cloud is located in Daegwallyeong and offers self-catering units with a terrace and free WiFi. A continental breakfast is available each morning at the holiday home. The owner was super friendly and helpful. He provided everything that we have requested.

Set 2.4 km from Sokcho Expo Park, Sokcho & Guesthouse features rooms with air conditioning in Sokcho. Great location near the market and bus stops, lovely couple that are running the guesthousw.

Nastanitev Sokcho Summitbay 1701 "Ocean View" je le nekaj korakov od znamenitosti Plaža Lighthouse in ponuja nastanitvene enote s klimatsko napravo in z balkonom. The view was just as amazing as in the pictures, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I recommend it!

Quaint getaway location with excellent restaurants and beaches nearby. Excellent cafes in abundance.

Nastanitev Fine and You Ocean City je v mestu Donghae, 2 min hoje od znamenitosti Plaža Hanseom Beach, manj kot 1 km od znamenitosti Plaža Gamchu Beach in 8 min hoje od znamenitosti Donghae City Hall,... Great small apartment right near the beach and 3 blocks from busy town area. You can cook and do laundry in the room and the hotel also has great coin laundry. The renter was quick to answer all our calls and concerns. I could rave about the beach boardwalk at night too. It helps to speak Korean at the local restaurants.

If you're looking for a pension within the mountains with a beautiful view as well as a very welcoming and accommodating host, I strongly recommend this place. The pension is directly facing Geumdang-Mountain and the valley, and the surroundings couldn't have been more pristine and peaceful. When I asked him for some recommendations regarding local taxi drivers through this app, he offered me to pick me up from Pyeongchang station without me asking for it. Right after pick-up, he gave me a tour of the area and also took me to a fantastic restaurant serving trout sashimi (송어회) when he found out that I hadn't eaten lunch yet. He also gave me a different room with a balcony without additional charges instead of the one I had booked when I told him that I came especially for the mountain view. Throughout my stay, he did his utmost to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was clean, comfortable, and very spacious for a single person. If you travel alone, I recommend you book the "Rose/Jangmi" room (장미) - because the view from the balcony was as great as promised. But next time, I will certainly come back with friends, as he offers plenty of more soacious options as well as to grill for your bbq if you bring your own meet. While you should bring your own food, you can also buy water, beer and makgeolli from him for reasonable prices.
