Set within 200 metres of Laos National Museum and 1.1 km of Wat Sisaket, SYRI Boutique Guesthouse Restaurant & Cafe offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Vientiane. We liked this guesthouse so much, we came to stay stay here again after our journey ended. Very clean, best value for money especially in SE Asia. Love their cats and hope to come back again.

Nice and reasonably spacious apartments overlooking the river, nice balcony, nice evening views. The location is just about perfect - it's 2 minutes walk to the beginning of the riverside walk with its restaurants and food stalls, which stretches another 15-20 minutes walk all the way to the city centre. So you're close to all of that but in a more quiet spot. The huge restaurant next door wasn't really loud while I was there, and I never noticed any sound from the bar on the back side of the building.

It was perfect for what I was looking for, quiet, comfortable, secure, close to the riverside and town centre (10 minute walk) and close to a gym. There is a coffee shop downstairs which has lovely food, coffee and other drinks. There is a seperate kitchen to cook some simple meals for yourself and a seperate lounge area which is very nice to sit around in. The apartment is very spacious. The owner let me check in early and was very helpful for any additional requests that I had. I ended up staying an extra week, I liked it that much.

The boss is very good. He came out to pick us up and didn't bring enough local currency. The boss also lent us a car to exchange it! Get up early the next morning to help us take a taxi with local software! In short, it's great!

Situated only a 7-minute walk from Vientiane Night market and Mekong River, Intouch Guest House offers comfortable rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Good location: Most of the sightseeing spots are within 10-15 minute walks. There are plenty of restaurants, groceries and supermarkets around the areas. You can take the air shuttle that costs only 15000 kips from the airport.

Villa Sisavad Guesthouse provides comfortable rooms, a 10-minute drive from Mekong River. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, it also has free Wi-Fi and on-site parking facilities. Greatly appreciate that I was able to check in at 10:00 after traveling from the states - and without hesitation. The location is not super central Vientiane but turned out to be perfect. You’re able to take the VTE airport bus to stop A3 then walk 10-15 min to the accommodation. Few minutes walk to a morning market for fresh fruits & food stalls. There is a very small local night street food market nearby as well as local street stalls along the way. The area is walkable. Room was basic but clean & comfortable. Hot water on demand, aircon worked great, large fridge. Mellow ambiance. Pool is kept in excellent condition & is a great addition! Only stayed one night before heading on to Vang Vieng. Hotel staff was able to easily book onward transportation travel. Will be staying there again prior to Laos departure.
