Kong was such a nice host and he welcomed me with a smile and helped me with so many things! I was so sad about only having time to stay there for 1 night cause he was so comfortable to be around. I didnt go on his tour but i really wish I had! The bed was nice and the outdoor seating was really good aswell. Just a very chill man and very flexible. He welcoms everyone and helped me get a tuktuk to the busstation in the evening.

It was close to the airport and easy to go to other places like the plain of jars and the city. Most of all, David, the owner of the guesthouse, was very kind and welcoming. The Hillside Residence is located in Xieng Khouang Province in Northern Laos. Just one km away from the city centre, it offers free parking and peaceful countryside accommodation. What an enchanting and charming place! The hillside residence is just lovely. The family that run it are absolutely delightful and couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. The shower is the BEST!!! The balcony where we had breakfast each day is also a lovely spot to watch the sun go down. There is an excellent restaurant just next door and it’s only a short walk to town. Perfect
