Situé à Nuwara Eliya, le Rustique House dbl propose un hébergement avec balcon. Cet hébergement avait tout ce qu'il faut, même de l'eau chaud ! 😀 Les personnes qui nous ont accueillis étaient très gentils et serviable. Ils nous ont trouvé des bons plans pour manger et se déplacer. Vraiment très chaleureux et gentil 🙏🏼 Les duvets étaient bien chaud et le petit déjeuner copieux. Très bel endroit.

If you’re travelling to Nanuoya, I highly recommend Ansi Villa. The family were so warm and welcoming, providing tea and cake on arrival, and cooking the BEST Sri Lankan breakfast (which was included). The room was perfect - clean with a very comfortable bed and excellent Wi-Fi. The location is fantastic. Only a 10 minute walk to the train station. The best hospitality and great value for money.

When we arrived we were greeted with the warmest welcome from our host and his family. The room we were in was absolutely stunning, big comfortable bed and beautiful views of the lake! Our host provided fresh coffee for us when we arrived and every morning after that. Nothing was too much for them!

Garden area was lovely to look at on while having breakfast. Two separate bedrooms each had their own bathroom plus a communal lounge and kitchen area.

We’ve had a very pleasant stay here - mainly because the staff was one of the friendliest we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far! We had an issue in our room that was completely out of their control and they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Special shout-out to the manager who even cleaned our rental car because he couldn’t let us continue driving with a dirty windshield! The breakfast was lovely and was served outside. ☀️ thanks for everything!

The hosts go absolve and beyond and make you feel like family! This place is a real gem I would not hesitate to book this place again and would not stay anywhere else in Nuwara Eliya.

Chithra, Wasantha, and their darling son Rashi are very special people. The home is infused with their love and joy. If you are accustomed to staying in swank hotels do not be put off by the basic furnishing. The bed is extremely comfortable with cozy blankets, the view is spectacular, the place is spotless and the shower is warm (a rarity in Sri Lanka). The bedding smelled like soap and sunshine. Chithra and Wasantha were professional cleaners in Dubai. — Don’t miss Chithra’s dinners. She’s one of the best cooks I’ve ever met. Everyone tells her she should write a cookbook - and she should. When the tuktuk wound up the steep hill to drop me off at their home at the top, it seemed far away from town. It’s not!!! Chithra showed me a shortcut. It’s an easy path down to the town and back up. It’s not as steep as it looks. It was an easy 10 minute walk down to town and maybe a 15 minute walk back up. I enjoyed getting to know Chithra and family so I engaged them but I was the one who had to initiate that. The family’s default is to leave guests alone. Wasantha was going to take me on a couple hikes in the woods but it rained heavily so I skipped it. I would like to do it next time. I really cannot praise this place enough. I fell in love with this pure hearted family, slept better than I have in a long time, and relished Chithra’s delicious meals. I look forward to returning with friends and family. Five stars all around for this special place.
