This was one of our favourite stays of our whole trip round South America!!! The staff are so helpful and will plan your whole week for you, their Laguna 69 walk was the most incredible experience. The room is clean and the beds are huge.

Located in Huaraz in the Ancash region, Mirador Backpackers B&B provides accommodation with access to a public bath. Very nice room, nice and variation in breakfast, very nice hosts. We arrived early and already got breakfast, they also offer affordable tours and if you book it with them they adjust the time of the breakfast. When going on a trek they gave us a thermos with coca tea which was very nice. After checking out we could still chill in a nice area untill our nightbus.

Located in Huaraz in the Ancash region, Lhotse Hostel B&B offers accommodation with access to a public bath. Excellent for me ! Very nice owners ! Very beautiful view from the roof (perfect to be there between treks and meet others travellers), possibility to cook for yourself too.

Featuring mountain views, Kame House hostel features accommodation with a garden, around 1.7 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa. Kame House had a great location and cozy vibe. Nice kitchen for cooking, hot showers, and great rooftop for watching the sunset over Huaraz.

Hotel Churup offers accommodation in Huaraz. Guests will be served a complimentary breakfast buffet daily, consisting of freshly ground, roasted and brewed coffee, fruits, seasonal vegetables and... Breakfast was superb. The decoration is very "feel at home" and warm, rooms also. There's a terrace in the dining room. Mat night you can order dinner if you want (very big plates, ask 1 for 2) and they will even light the fireplace for you

Featuring a garden and a shared lounge, Casa de Ana B&B is set in Huaraz. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 1.1 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa. It is a family B&B. The family is really friendly. Aja gave us so many advices and helped us so much to explore Huaraz and also the surroundings. The breakfast is great. There is also a terrace where you can read calm a book. The bed was very comfortable. In general the accommodation was very clean.

Located 500 metres from the main square and 400 metres from Oltursa bus station, Hostal Universal offers free Wi-Fi and 24-hour front desk assistance in Huaraz. The owners are very nice! They arranged everything for us during our stay (good price), including tours, earlier breakfast etc. Also had a (very) early check in after a night bus. Location directly in the city center with the street market in the same street, but no noise. Hotel is just perfect to stay in Huaraz.

With river views, casa montañista lodge & camping is set in Huaraz and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and picnic area. In short, 5 booked days turned into two weeks. We immediately felt at home and incredibly comfortable. For us it was a little paradise. The river that borders the house is perfect for swimming or fishing. From the outdoor kitchen you had a really beautiful view of the mountains, the river and the sunrise. It is a beautiful, quiet place with chickens, cats and sheep that belong to Walter's mother. She lives on the property and supplied us with little things to eat and drink from her little shop. When we were there, there were two baby cats that we really loved. It is super easy, quick and cheap to get to Huaraz town with the collectivo bus. From the property you can walk several small treks, such as to viewpoints and to a waterfall. We were lucky that Walter accompanied us on an adventurous hike to the waterfall. We already miss it and can highly recommend this beautiful spot in nature to everyone. It really exceeded our expectations. Thanks again to Walter and his mother.
