We had such a great time with Mario and Julia, and our stay at Isla Taquile wouldn't have been nearly as good without their company. Mario greeted us at the port when we arrived, and later in the day showed us around the island, explaining about inca ruins and answering all our questions about the culture and lifestyle of the people living on the island. Our room was clean and comfortable with many blankets, a table and chairs, and electric outlets (although Mario said only some of the rooms have this as of today). The shower was hot and Julia cooked us delicious food for dinner (additional cost) and breakfast (included in the booking). We also got to see a weaving demonstration by Julia, and bought some beautiful homemade textile crafts from them. There was spotty Entel reception on some parts of the island, but not in the village/accommodation; apparently Bitel works better on the island, but we didn't try it ourselves. We drank the water from the tank at their place with no issue, but they have boiled drinking water for guests if needed. I'd say some knowledge of Spanish is an advantage to get the most out of a stay here, as Mario and Julia speak Spanish and Quechua but not English. All in all an excellent way to get to experience the island and its culture!

La Casa de Valentin, situada en Llachón, ofrece alojamiento con vistas al lago, restaurante, jardín, zona de playa privada y terraza. Lugar ideal para desconectar con vistas al lago. Las instalaciones estan limpias y la familia sirve una buena comida. A tener en cuenta que en Llachon no hay cajeros y solamente algunas tiendas pequeñas, no hay restaurantes. Buenas acogida por parte de Valentin, su mujer y Jesus. Gracias

El Titicaca Sariri Lodge se encuentra en Puno y ofrece vistas al lago, restaurante, jardín y terraza. El baño privado está totalmente equipado con ducha y artículos de aseo gratuitos. The location on Lake Titicaca was amazing. The host Isak gave us an excellent cruise on the lake and told us about the people living on the floating islands Uros.

El Taquile Sumaq Wasi - Casa de Felipe e Ines se encuentra en Huillanopampa. Esta casa de campo sirve un desayuno continental todas las mañanas. I'm genuinely happy to have spent some time at Ines and Felipe's. Everyone is super kind and we had the luck of being there while the family cooked for other community members and hosted a session of Easter chants, to which we have been allowed to take part. Departamento: Mirador de Puno. Cuenta con balcón y se encuentra en Puno, a solo 400 metros de la iglesia de San Antonio y a 700 metros de la plaza de Armas de Puno. The apartment was very spacios and close to the city. Our host was already very helpful. He arrange or offer us delivery of food, taxi etc. He was always here for us. Thank you very much. The location is very quiet and secure.

El TITICACA WORLDWIDE LODGE es un alojamiento con jardín y terraza situado en Puno, a 4,6 km del estadio Enrique Torres Belón, a 4,7 km del puerto de Puno y a 4,7 km del paseo marítimo de Bahía de los... wow!! We decided to stay with local people from the Uros, and their rooms are beautiful just as we were looking for, basic and views of the lake, our host was friendly, and we took their kayak tour, great, if you want to live a different experience this is the option, recommended!

El Munay Pachamama-Amantani Complejos de cabañas ofrece alojamiento en Amantani, a menos de 1 km de la isla de Amantani. Todo esta muy limpio y moderno con agua caliente. La huéspedes Sofía y su mamá Francisca son adorables y cocinan muy muy bien.
