Boasting a terrace with ocean views, Dosun B&B is located a 5-minute walk from Jiufen Old Street. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. The air-conditioned rooms have a flat-screen TV. Excellent Location. The room is neat and clean which is quite a top priority for us. The bed and pillow are soft & comfy. Actually it exceeded my expectations in every way. The owner & staff are so friendly and helpful. Uncle and Aunt're so kind. You can tell the hotel to call a Taxi for you. No need to walk up there with your belongings which is a little bit tired. The scenery is beautiful. Walk through the steps 5 minutes to the center of Jiufen walking Street. I forgot my ring in the bathroom and they kept it for us before I noticed it. The check-out day, we wanted to go shopping first, so the hotel offered us to leave the luggages with them then when we're back they will call a taxi to the MRT Station for us. We're totally appreciated. Impressive. Top Recommend.

Located in Jiufen, 34 km from Taipei, Sunshine B&B features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The views were amazing. The rooms are very spacious and clean. It’s easy to walk to all the touristic areas

The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.

The property is perfect in every way, it’s like stepping into a completely different world. It creates a vibe that you live in the “spirited away” world. The location is super convenient, I walked to the old street in less than 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the quiet little town all by yourself before the tourists get in in the morning and after tourists leave at night. The host is super helpful when you need anything, you can also book day tours and massage to the room with the host. I’m extremely terrified of bugs, because this is in a forest and I was traveling by myself, that was a concern. But I didn’t encounter anything in my two nights of stay.
