We drove for almost 2 hours on gravel to get to the destination, but you know what? It was absolutely worth it. The place is a beautiful scenery with lots of privacy, a beautiful escape, so tranquil and soothing to the soul. Everything is amazing, the tented house is very clean, hygienic, and had all the cutlery and scullery we needed. There was also a first-aid kit, considering that we were deep in the wild, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Very personal and family run bush camp. Jenni and Kristian are great hosts. We enjoyed the time over new year at this wonderful location. The tents are spacious and very clean. There is a large pool with sunbeds available and also a nice place to sit around the fire. The very good Breakfast and delicious Dinner is served together with the owners which is perfect for interesting conversations and sharing experiences. The Game Drives with Kristian were informative and varied with nice animal sightings. Simply a beautiful bush camp - highly recommended.

There are buffalo and other wildlife in the park and occasionally leopards. It is the perfect transition to the Kruger National Park, or rather the weaning from it.

Thanks to our fantastic and knowledgeable tracker and guides Mateo and Never and our tough topless safari car we were able to get incredibly close to all animals including the big five by driving on small dirt roads at all times. The host and gardener were also very kind and helpful. We greatly enjoyed spotting smaller wildlife from the hide out during the sunset and sunrise, and the peace and quiet of the stay. During the night we were visited by a honey badger twice that tried to get into the cupboards and fridge, some excitement for sure!

My first impression was exclusivity and serenity. Early morning and afternoon game drives were exceptional. Leisuring next to the pool and spotting hippo and elephant grazing along the riverfront.
