Bathrooms were clean, great showers, everything was brand new, we had a little fridge, a stove top, kitchen utensils, plenty of blankets etc. It was so peaceful next to the canal.

The kitchen well appointed - had everything we needed. It is quite far from downtown Leiden but in exchange we got a lovely view of the harbour as well as peace and quiet. The garden and conservatory are wonderful but it was a little bit too cold for us to enjoy them at the end of October! We loved the location by the lake and surrounded by canals which gives a real feeling of being in the countryside but it's close enough to Leiden to take the train to Amsterdam for the day and not far from Den Haag, Haarlem etc.
