The whole vibe of a capsule hotel is great and definitely gives a unique sleeping experience with the style the pods are in, staff are friendly and helpful
The location was a little hard to find but it was in a good, convenient area. My pod was much more comfortable than I expected. It was lovely and quiet. I lived in Japan for 10 years in the 1990s and never dared to stay in a capsule hotel. Now aged 60 back on a visit, I tried this out and it was perfect and I’d definitely stay again.
It is excellent capsule hotel for solo travellers. It is close to Akabane station (1-2 min walk), eating places, like Matsuya (24hours open), etc. The price is excellent too. For Tokyo, it is very cheap. The Check-in works until 00.00. It is very convenient, when you have very late arrival at Haneda airport (1 hour by train). The front desk is perfect!
Stayed 8 nights. Extremely clean, stylish, new and modern capsule hotel with Japanese elements incorporated into the design and concept (wooden design, Jap music at the reception). Capsule beds were spacious, well ventilated and comfortable. Can’t emphasise how clean the place is. Fresh yukata and towels every morning. Onsen and sauna were well maintained. Convenient location just a few steps away from Akasaka Mitsuke metro and a Family Mart just in front of the building.
It's run by the same group that run the Lively Hotels in Osaka and Fukuoka. Having stayed in those properties already the receptionist gave me a free water bottle at check in! Free beer hour, and together with the cozy communal space this leads to a great chance to meet fellow travelers, which can be tough in Japanese capsule hotels The capsule contains a full double bed, which can be raised up to form a sofa. There's space underneath to store your bags. The bed is super comfortable, more so than most hotels I stayed at on this trip!
Typical Japanese capsule hotel. Location is great and right in the middle of Asakusa next ro Tawaramachi. Place is very clean (cleanest I’ve seen in Japan). Theres also a spacious common room
1. friendly and kind staff 2. cleaness 3. plentiful amenities 4. great facilities such as microwave, vending machine for drinks, irons, information guide on tv, light buttons in bed etc. 5. well organized service 6. convenient location to many subway stations 7. a baggage tag/receipt to prevent loss 8. delicious and nutrient breakfast - japanese meal with a reasonable price
My first Japanese capsule hotel experience and I was incredibly impressed. Free onsen for guests! The whole place is very new, very clean, and the staff are delightfully polite and helpful. The little business centre is perfect for working.
Booked last minute due to convenient location. The room is super cute but larger than expected as it has a well thought out layout. Plenty of space for suitcases. Tatami mat seating area with kimono, origami, Japanese books was a lovely surprise. Nice lighting options. Coffee pod machine bonus. Best modern shower and toilet with automatic night light. The staff here are so friendly. And location is perfect if you don’t feel like dragging your bags too far. Right across road from Tokyo train station, airport limousine bus and taxi rank.
1. No daily check out when staying more than one night = can stay and leave belongings in the capsule 2. Clean and modern facilities 3. Private shower rooms (some Japanese capsule hotels only have public bath that everyone goes in naked) 4. Bathrooms and lockers are conveniently located on the same floor near all the capsules (some capsule hotels have them on separate floors) 5. Friendly fellow foreign travelers 6. Near a train station (but a small one so not that may train lines pass)
