It was close to kids chair lift and lessons, close to mini supermarket, pub/restaurant, bus stop for the shuttle up the mountain. It was even better than I was expecting. We hosted new and old friends on our last night and caught the fireworks display arranged by the Mt Hotham ski staff. None of us knew of the event but the proximity of the chalet to the slopes and its super-tall windows allowed us to enjoy the event fully.
