Exactly as described and more. Small touches like the owner showing us around the cabin, the platter and fresh eggs from the farm, Towels for the hot springs. Plenty of wood. The most comfortable bed with plenty of blankets to keep you warm.

Set on 26 acres, Amuri Estate Luxury Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi. There is a guest lounge with a fireplace and a large patio offering stunning mountain and river views.

This was a highlight of our 3 week journey around the South Island. We would highly recommend going out of your way to stay at Amuri for the quality of the service, the stunning views and the aura of serenity which you cannot help but be taken in by. The cheese platter and wine on arrival was excellent and the kitchen facilities were perfect. Don't even hesitate, book a night (or more!) here and it'll be a highlight for you too.

The hostel was clean and cozy, and it had all the amenities I could need. The owners are kind and welcoming.

This was the cleanest and most well thought out property I have ever stayed in. They went over the top with providing extra amenities we did not expect and the location was within walking distance of just about everything we wanted to do. Everything was excellent, from the friendliness of the woman at the front desk, to the complimentary towels for the hot pools. I can’t rave about this place enough. We can’t wait to come back. 😁
