Beautifully appointed and furnished apartment. Washing machine, plenty of towels and amenities. Excellent communication with the host. Perfect location in Paihai, close to restaurants and shopping, easily walkable but also has on site parking space. Easy to catch the ferry to Russell. Would highly recommend.

After the first night a class of (rowdy) primary school students arrived and stayed in the rooms on the opposite side of our cabin. We were content to stay there, but got an upgrade to a bigger (private) cabin, without having asked. The town of Russell is a 5 minute drive and from there the ferry to Paihia in 15 minutes. Both a must see!

Quiet at night which was very good. Easy parking in front of our cabin. Very happy with the screens on the windows/doors as it could get hot inside otherwise. Shower was good and bed was comfy. Well priced so we were happy with our stay. The only thing missing was perhaps a lounge chair or two on the deck and maybe a division between our deck and the deck in the cabin next door. Otherwise excellent.
