Die Unterkunft ist sauber und zweckmässig eigerichtet. Stefan hat uns in der Stadt abgeholt und bei der Abreise wieder zum Bahnhof gebracht. Es werden verschiedene tolle Ausflüge angeboten (Snowmobile, Wildernesstour…) 50 Minuten kann man dem See und Fluss entlang zum Dorf wandern. Neben der eindrücklichen Kirche hat es ein Freilichtmuseum, welches auch im Winter geöffnet ist. Am letzten Tag waren wir auf einer Wildernesstour. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner und unvergesslicher Aufenthalt.

Firstly - if you can't live without Wifi, then you'd be best just to stay at home - this is not what Reindeer Lodge is about. If you're after 5 star accommodation, then find somewhere else because staff are not here to be at your personal beck and call. Staff at Reindeer Lodge are amazing - we always felt welcome and part of the family. Our room, although small, was very cosy and clean. To keep the park an authentic experience, there are 2 communal (very clean) toilets, as well as a communal shower and wood fired sauna. When leaving, you are asked to strip your beds fold your bedding and put your bedding and pillows on the lounge to make room turnover quicker for staff. As well as looking after the rooms, staff are also responsible for looking after the reindeer, preparing meals for guests and working at the Saami / Reindeer village at Jukkasjarvi. Staff work long hours and very hard. Breakfast was a really nice Scandinavian style Smorgas, it was great to be able to go in and feed and interact with the reindeer - let them come to you... You can also borrow some cross country skis or snow shoes to go for a walk on the lake. Reindeer Lodge is about a 5-10 minute drive from Jukkasjarvi and a good alternative to the Icehotel. We recommend staying at Reindeer Lodge.

The owners were so nice! Our car got stuck on our way to the hotel, and they drove out to help us. Overall, they were super sweet and helpful throughout the stay. The bed was also really comfortable and it was nice and cozy in the cabin. I truly love this place!
