Just the loveliest homestay with all the comforts you could ask for. The restaurant offers fresh and tasty food for good prices and Gecko is just the most helpful and friendly host you could ask for. They also have the cutest dogs, which is always a bonus. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Loved the natural beautiful place, with nice garden and small houses. Good and warm hearted host! Linda helps organise everything you need from the moment you arrive. She made this stay much Better. The breakfast is great, comes with few options. The rooms are very beautiful decorated. The pool is a bonus because it's hot and you can chill. Maybe the only downside is the distance, but it's solvable by renting a scooter.

It was easy to arrive. The rooms and breakfast as advertised. All very clean. All the arrangements to explore Cat Ba Park were done with them, as any other activities. Pricing was good. Around the homestay there are 3 bars with food, and the bus to cat ba city is 5min walk.

Very recommended homestay on Catba Island. A very beautiful and quiet place. The family was really nice and helpful with everything. They arranged our trip in Lan Ha Bay, the bus from Hanoi and taxi when we needed to go to the town which is like a 10 min drive. We also took the bus from the main road one night which was really cheap. The pool and the garden were really nice and beautiful. Our children used the pool a lot also in the evening. The bungalows around the pool looked were nice however as family of five we stayed in the rooms which are not pool front but that was okay. The room was simple but nice and clean. We ate at the restaurant several times, and even as vegetarians we had many options and the food was great. Also the breakfast was great, our children loved the pancake with milkshake. My husband and son liked the billiard table in the restaurant. We stayed for 3 nights and wanted to stay more!

Yen is a little piece of paradise for families or friends who want to enjoy a calm and natural environnement. Its right in the middle of butterfly valley, where you can do trekking and rock climbing! The pool offers a perfect view, our kids couldnt get enough of it ! The owner will cook delicious food for you!! The rooms are brand new and really well equiped. Than you so much for the stay we loved it soooo much!! You will most likely need to rent scooter to get around if you stay a bit longer

Viet Hai Lan was AMAZING!!! The landscape was beautiful, the people were so kind, and the food was delicious. Chilly was great and so helpful. I highly recommend and cannot wait for our next visit.

The lodge was a beautiful, rustic location that was just perfect. There were chickens, ducks, and a cow roaming about, and we were surrounded by jungle. It was wonderfully quiet. The manager also had some excellent suggestions for activities and was incredibly helpful and accommodating.
