This is a lovey place with a stunning view to the lake. I stay there with my family and it was superb and we have enjoyed it. The hosts were very helpful, a loving couple. The rooms were very comfortable and getting up in the morning with that view, it was awesome. The place are located in very quite and safe area. We have enjoyed our stay.

Amazing 3 course breakfast with cold breakfast buffet. The team is so warm and welcoming! Amazing views from our room and the balcony with direct access from our room. Stayed here for 6 nights. Just so sad I had to leave. I won't be staying anywhere else when I go down to the Garden Route. Every cent worth it!

The place was absolutely breathtaking! It was even better than the pictures. Everything met our expectations and more. The jacuzzi was fantastic and easy to control. The cabin was stunning. And the shower is definitely my favourite. My partner and I explored the surrounding farms and forests and even met some of the cows. Lize is an amazing host. We will definitely be coming back soon. Totally recommend this place to anyone looking for an escape with peace, beautiful scenery and fresh air.

The staff was lovely and the lodging was surprisingly nice, we had a two-storey chalet with very nice view. Breakfast was very good and abundant. The place was located close to the centre of Knysna (but you would need a car to get I to town).

Everything! From the moment we arrived immediate attention from a very helpful member of staff who belped us with our luggage to the upper level of the Cabin and gave us a very comprehensive run down on its features which included the fullest TV an internet package with excellent Wifi reception. The utter piece de resistance is the views from both levels of the property especially the upper level with its wrap around views out across the lagoon to the Knysna Heads. I have stayed in many properties in Knysna this past 30 years but none with such stunning views or anywhere near so comprehensively equipped. Tasha and Bill could not have been more welcoming and it was a joy just as we were leaving to see Bill standing with his hand out with bits of Gouda cheese enticing birds to hover and pinch them before flying off! Coming back to SA in February and will certainly spend more time at the Knysna Lodge. Wouldn't dream of ever staying anywhere else. Remarkably comprehensive guidance provided by Tasha before our arrival and always asking during the stay if we lacked anything. Outstanding value for money.
