Everything was perfect! Absolutely perfect! The elephants are majestic and the whole atmosphere at the lodge is incredible! Found myself sitting staring at the elephants for hours. Breakfast was very good. And the staff… Best staff I ever met! Each and every one of them is amazing and made our stay even more perfect. My top recommendation for sure!

The tents are modern with lovely interiors. Lovely fireplace inside and you get complete privacy outside. There is a BBQ area and a traditional hot tub where you need to burn wood. But the highlight of the stay would be the amazing service and interaction with Lisa Marie who was the manager of the property. I dont usually write reviews but for a change I had to write to praise the support and enthusiasm she shows for her work. I really appreciate people who work with passion and show kindness towards fellow human beings and she needs the words of encouragement and totally deserves the praise. Gem of a person. We had an amazing time, pity we couldnt stay for long. But if we return to South Africa am going back to this place.

We had the most incredible stay at Stanley Island. The food, rooms and setting were so beautiful, and especially the service from Fanny at the restaurant made our visit! We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends.

This property was incredible! Highlight of our time in South Africa. The location is about 15min drive from town but as a result feels private and safe. Market a couple minute drive away with all the essentials. Enrico restaurant is 5 min walk away (on the beach/boardwalk), great food lively atmosphere and great views. Beach leads to lovely easy hike along coastline. The property is clean, spacious. Well equipped kitchen. The view is exceptional - right on the beach, we watched dolphins every morning enjoying coffee on the deck. Host was quick to respond to any questions, check in and check out very simple and efficient. Laundry services provided (we did not use).

Fantastic place, our only regret was that we weren't there longer. The rooms were amazing, very comfortable and there were.lots of quirky details. The views were stunning. The food is delicious and they catered for my dietary requirement. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed on NYE and the owner checked on with all guests to be sure we had slept well. We will definitely be back again
