I'm so happy I decided to move the map a bit from Vlorë to the mountains to find some authentic place to stay. That experience was absolutely unbelievable, everyone must try this. The hosts did a favor and gave us a lift to their house in the mountains. They will bring you back to the city after your stay, don't worry :) I'd say that if you don't have a 4x4 car and proper skills, it'd be impossible to get there. However, with this family, it's not an issue. They're happy to help. The road is beautiful and the views are stunning. They don't ask for a fee for the ride, but be kind and leave them some money. We paid for the dinner, and I recommend everyone to do this. Worth every penny. We had a variety of local dishes made especially for us. Thank you! The yard is full of love and attention to detail. Fruit trees, flowers, benches, grapes you'll like it! The house is cozy, and I liked to sit on the sofa near the floor lamp at night, inhaling the smell of a bouquet of local herbs. Breakfast was included. As well as the dinner, everything was homemade. I hope you'd have a chance to try local honey in honeycombs. When I say local, I mean it was made by bees of the host family :) Forget to mention that we had local grapes and figs as well. Don't envy us! We stayed in different places in Albania, but this was the best experience by far. Thanks to the whole family for having us at their place!

LA MAISON - Sea Appartment & Petit Chalet en Bois for 4 SEASONS ligger i Golem, 300 m fra Golem Strand og mindre end 1 km fra Shkëmbi i Kavajës Strand. The apartman is very beautyfull, clean and modern. Lot of place to take our stuff and clothes, kitchen is awesome.. so you will staying like home:) Hosts are very kind and helpfull:) Will going back Im sure:)

This was the best stay in Albania ever. Location was very quiet and peaceful, and it was perfect to get some rest. Breakfast and lunch was greatly homemade traditional food, absolutely delicious. The hosts are there for everything what is needed, extremely friendly and very helpful. Villa is very clean and cozy, swimming pool was also perfect. We will definitely come again, high recomendation.
