Chalet Maria Interlaken is a traditional Swiss chalet with a garden, located in the heart of Interlaken. The apartment is only 250 meters away from the nearest train station and other public transport. I feel like home here. You can find anything here. Room is spacious for 3 people — look like an apartment inside. Kitchen has everything even cooking oil or a rice cooker. Bathroom even has the hand-held bidet! So detailed! And the owner is very service minded, helping us to carry 2 big luggage (20+ kg) up to our room. So, you don’t have to worry even there is no lift, you won’t have the problem. Location is something to mention. The view from the room is the river and mountain — super beautiful!!! Plus, it’s close to Interlaken West station. So, everything is so convenient.

It had everything you would need to enjoy your stay in Interlaken area. The internet was fast enough for my little girl to stream baby YouTube videos. The walk from the train takes about 10 minutes but there is a bus stop literally within walking distance from the property which drops you off down around the Interlaken West train station. Very convenient!! The host was very quick with her communication and the messages were very clear/precise. This is what I had imagined for what a perfect booking to be; smooth, clean and to the point. Thank you Sofia for the stay. We will be back perhaps with family and/or with friends!

Consisting of 3 separate chalets, the CityChalet is located next to the Aare River, 300 metres from the centre of Interlaken. Each apartment has a balcony or terrace overlooking the garden or the Jungfrau Massif. Free Wi-Fi is available. I mean, you are staying in a chalet in Switzerland. So much to like: —views!! of waterfalls from living room windows and porch —lofts and bunk beds for kids (fun!) —warm and cozy —they have a fondue set so we went to grocery and made our own cheese and chocolate fondue both nights. —location is very good to main part of town, can walk to or drive —free parking in front of your private entrance. This apartment is on top floor, owner lives on bottom floor. —sauna in front, plus a fire pit and outdoor dining table —owner was so genuinely kind and nice —laundry facilities available downstairs in technical room (shared with owner) —loved the natural wood throughout —there is a cute treat cart in the entry way where you can leave money for something you want to buy —while the bathroom is small, totally sufficient and the shower water and pressure was nice and hot (and we had 5 people) —good price and space for a family rental comparatively to others in the area! —all the chalet and cabin vibes!

Also gave us idea about surrounding tourist places. Worth mentioning cute pets (a dog and a cat) who welcomed us and accompanied during walks as if they know us from ages :) Overall wonderful stay.
