The location, the equipment, the care given to set practical things and to make the trails/sanderos very clear and easy. I definitely recommand it to people wanting to be inspired by nature.

A perfect stop over between Pura Vida Ecolodge and Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean side. We were met with open arms and warm smiles and were incredibly well looked after throughout our short stay. It genuinely felt like we were at home... Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and a really beautiful set up, stunning views, wonderfully kept gardens and basic but comfortable cabins. They even managed to make some tweaks in the kitchen in order to offer us a super tasty vegan evening meal and very yummy breakfast. Gracias Antonio y amigos, we'll be back and for longer next time - seems like there is SO much to explore in the area!

Offering free WiFi and an outdoor pool, Corredores del Pacuare is situated on Pacayitas, from La Suiza district (Taxi station) 11km North, at this point you will find the San Vicente intersection from... Very good experience. The hotel is somewhat remote (9km drive on unpaved road). Gilberth (the owner) is a very nice person. He really helped me when I got stuck driving a small FWD car, and prepared a very good breakfast. Highly recommended place to stay, but I would recommend driving a 4x4 in that area.

Leopoldo is an excellent host, and the house is just perfect. Easy to cook and prepare food, with decent equipment. It’s very rustic, remote and peaceful. The views of the town are spectacular. The fog/mist/cloud that decent on the place is a sight to behold. I’ve never stayed in a place where you can open the door and walk into fog!! For Breakfast Leopoldo supplied a tray of eggs, a large bunch of bananas, a loaf of bread, melons, apples and a pineapple. perfect for two adults and two kids for five days. The fire place was so nice, it was the perfect place to have one, and thankfully fire wood was supplied by the host. The drive to the house from the main road is rather difficult. You DEFINITELY need to have a 4x4 or at least a AWD vehicle. We had a Suzuki Vitara which was perfect for it, but the clearance was only just enough, as we scraped the underneath once or twice.
