Featuring pool views, Sonora Jungle & Yoga Retreat in Puerto Viejo features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and water sports facilities. It was my best stay in Puerto Viejo - calm, clean, comfortable and relaxing. Away from crowd in a very beautiful place. Staff was very nice and eager to help. My next time in Puerto Viejo I will book a room in Sonora again.

Located 400 metres from Punta Uva Beach, Casa Viva Lodge provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience. Nice room. Good size and comfortable bed. included coffee maker, small toaster oven, dishes, cups, silverware and small refrigerator.

Nestled in the jungle amidst an enchanted botanical garden, 300m from Playa Grande, Wildlife Lodge Cahuita is the perfect getaway for nature lovers. Fabulous place. Here are Elwira and Marco. When we got there we saw amazing cabins in a wonderful garden. This is a really magic place to stay. Garden with beautiful flowers, medicine herbs and trees. We saw howler monkeys, white faced capuchin monkeys, toucans, green and black poisonous dart frog, butterflys, sloths. Nearby there was a beautiful beach. The Host of this great place, Fernando was very friendly, helpful. He has a great knowledge of nature of this place and all Costa Rica. During our stay Fernando made a chocolate day. He showed us all process of making chocolate, from the roasting cacao beans to the making chocolate bars. It was wonderful experience. Satta Lodge offers you a unique experience in the heart of the Caribbean jungle and 700m from Cocles beach. First of all I don't understand why some guests „criticize” the road here. You are in a jungle and consideration and respect should be given to animals, nature and people. We loved everything… The area, the bungalow and the really good breakfast (I highly recommend the french pancakes). Waking up to the different animal sounds was impressive. The staff was super friendly and every time very helpful. The rooms were also absolutely clean and comfortable with a fantastic view to the jungle. This place is a paradise - Please keep it like that! :) Thank so much for this beautiful experience. We’ll definitely come back (hopefully next year). PURA VIDA 🦥☀️

Beautiful trees plants and hummingbirds. Cabins are very nice and super clean. Everything is provided in the kitchen and fresh water provided as well.

Located in Cahuita in the Limon region, with Blanca and Negra nearby, Bungalows Aché Cahuita provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. We loved how private the bungalows were and the beautiful gardens where we saw birds and listened to the howler monkeys. The separate kitchen was great to make additional meals, the coffee maker and fridge in the room was a plus. The location was amazing, though Cahuita is small we were tucked away from the main road but only steps away from the entrance to the park. All around a great stay.

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. The place is full of animals. In their garden you can see sloths, parrots, toucans, frogs, iguanas,even kinkajou. Pierre, the host was so nice and teached us how to find animals

El Passion Fruit Lodge està situat a 5 km de Cahuita, a la regió de Limón. L'establiment es troba a 18 km de Puerto Viejo i a 20 km de Cocles. So beautiful and calm place. The sounds of nature all day long. I would recommend to have a rented car to explore the surroundings.

Playa Grande Lodge & Tree House offers pet-friendly accommodation in Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 16 km from the property. Free WiFi is available throughout. It was clean and well kept. The owners went out of their way to assure I was taken care of.
