Situated in San Gerardo, Rio Chirripo features a garden and year-round outdoor pool. Free WiFi in the main area is available. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony. beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, lots of options for things to do. breakfast and pre-breakfast was amazing.

Trogon Lodge is located 1.5 km from San Gerardo de Dota town centre and 9 km from Los Quetzales National Park. It features an extensive garden, a terrace and BBQ facilities. Beautiful location, absolutely stunning views of the forest. Staff extremely friendly and helpful but not overbearing. Lots of beautiful birds around. Highly recommend taking the quetzal tour to see this amazing bird with Grieven, who is really an expert on these creatures. There is also some very nice, but very hilly and tough hikes on the property which are worth the climb. Highly recommend

Amazing place with beautiful garden and forest to walk through, waterfall and cocoa plantation. You can watch birds during a day and go to look for frogs in the evening. Absolutely loved it!

What an amazing place ! The best I've been for the all trip. The bedroom is comfortable and clean, nature is everywhere and the owners are soooo kind. They will cook you a dinner you won't forget ! We could have spent a week here, we really did not want to leave. If you get the chance, you must stay here. The cabin was perfect, there is nothing you need that isn’t here. The views are spectacular, it wouldn’t be possible to do it justice. We were very fortunate to stay at some incredible places, but this might be our favourite. The drive up is challenging, we were laughing the whole way, but it was definitely worth it. We can’t recommend this place more. Great hosts, readily available and accommodating.
