The location of the huts are very isolated in the best of ways with wild animals literally as soon as you leave the gates. Road access is very good despite being narrow at times for larger vehicles. The huts themselves were just cosy clean and a brilliant vibe and design. Complimentary scones were fantastic ☺️ Definitely coming back at some stage in the future as if you're looking for the perfect get away

The lodge was lovely and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location was beautiful very peaceful quiet, scenic and perfect. Customer service was amazing Ross went above and beyond to accommodate us, This is by far the best overall stay we have had for many years of stays across the country, will definitely be coming back I actually think this is my new favourite happy place.

The property is wonderful. Tastefully decorated, clean and well equipped..With parking close by. It was a haven and I would certainly book it again. I felt very relaxed there and wish I could have stayed longer.

The location was beautiful, having the beach on your doorstep is not something you get to experience everyday. It was very quiet and was like having the beach to yourself. The restaurant was lovely and the food was was amazing! The staff were very attentive and very helpful.

Great location, within short driving distance from every point of interest in western Cornwall. The town itself, St.Day, is quite pretty. It was nice to have dinner and a short walk in the evening.

Polgwedhen Lodge is a secluded lakeside holiday home surrounded by extensive gardens, private grounds and wildlife. This is brilliant. The lodge overlooks a picturesque lake, complete with resident nesting ducks. There is a kitchen / dining / sitting area, along with a generous-sized bedroom (four poster bed) and separate bathroom. Upon our arrival we found scones, jam and cream waiting for us and a lovely welcoming note. We met our hosts the next morning, and we loved hearing about how they had built the lodge themselves. Definitely one of the best we have ever stayed in.

You couldn't hear any traffic. We sat on the verandah and watched the birds. Idyllic. Cabin was cosy and charming.

Great location, a beautiful walk in to town along the estuary. The flat was large and well laid out, with beautiful soft furnishings to make it a home from home. The bed was comfy and shower was great. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Really was a lovely place to stay and parking a bonus!

Hosts are very hospitable and go that little extra to make your stay more comfortable. All the amenities were perfectly adequate and the bathroom was a good size. The view from the nest was great and despite it blowing a gale it was surprisingly sheltered.
