The property is in a gorgeous location overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. Lots of options for hiking and sightseeing nearby. Cozy and comfortable cabin had everything we needed. I’m so glad that we booked 2 nights - you’ll regret leaving after just one night. We didn’t see the lake monster, but did have beautiful aurora borealis shows both nights. This was our favorite place to stay on our whole trip around Iceland.

It was really cozy and comfy with great views to the lake and the mountains. The staff was really kind, especially the woman with yellow jacket. In the room there was water and homemade cookies, we loved that detail.

Lambhus Glacier View Cabins is situated 30 km west of Höfn and features garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. We loved this cabin! Very clean and had all the facilities we needed, including a fridge. Very spacious. The beds were extremely comfy. The location is amazing with beautiful views. Self-check with lock box made it easy and check out also easy as drop key in a box

On the eastern edge of Vatnajökull National Park in the Icelandic Highlands, this hostel has nature baths and a café on-site. The location is amazing, the hostel very cozy, the hot spring were divine! The staff helped us resolve a lost item crisis and saved us from dispair--highly recommended.
