Milky Way is inside Wadi Rum protected area and 7 km far from Wadi Rum's village. Milky Way Ecolodge also includes a barbecue. Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant. Jeep tour in Wadi Rum with night in the desert was the best experience in Jordan for our kids (9 and 12 years old). We have booked 4-hour tour with sunset and morning camel riding. It was no problem to arrange any activity with the manager Mater. Our tour guide Faraj was extremely friendly and nice as well. He even let our children drive the jeep for a while. Traditional dinner and breakfast were delicious. I would definitely recommend staying in this camp.

I had one of the most amazing experiences in Desert’s soul. They were very kind and helpful. When I arrived at the visitor center, he picked me up and arranged transportation on the way home. The location is unbelievable. I could see the beautiful sunset. They use natural energies. I enjoyed riding a camel. Thank you for everything.

The staff of island camp was one of the nicest hosts we had in Jordan! The jeep trip with them was amazing with many great activities around Wadi Rum. At the evening, the dinner hosted by the camp was a traditional Bedouin meal (cooked within the ground!) and during the next day when our group had some miscommunications with the driver the camp owner was very happy to help us communicate with them. Thank you!!!
