• The location is good, there are so many good Sakura spots nearby, and it’s also close to the ASO mountain. People can enjoy the great pure countryside and relax. • The room is a wooden cabin which is big and clean, the host just renew the laboratory and shower room. •There is a shared kitchen, people can buying stuff from a supermarket which is close and cook by yourself.

Excellent cabin. Very spacious and maintained well. Stayed warm during winter. Private onsen bath was amazing. Would definitely stay here again

The onsen is clean, and the view is good, especially the open air onsen at the top of the mountain. All the staff were very courteous and helpful. The room is very comfortable. The meals were fabulous and delicious. Mr Sato, the owner, was exceptionally helpful and humble. He provides free shuttle services to and fro from the bus stop to the ryokan.

Very pleasant owners, clean room, a great view from our cabin for sunrise and a really delicious home cooked breakfast!

Lovely cabin with two big rooms in a wooded location on a hillside. We would have been happy with only one room but the owner (who spoke English) thought that was too small! There was also a veranda to sit on but it was too cold in November. There was a sink and a toilet in both rooms. There was a private bath big enough for 2 in a cabin 10m away. The food was amazing. Really top notch cooking. Deserved a Michelin star! Don’t miss out on the food. I think it was 3,800 yen for dinner.

Jumping from 3 to 4 stars has been a great experience. I liked everything, especially dinner and breakfast. The classic japanese style room was pleasant and peaceful and the mountains view was gorgeous. The onsen is of course a plus and there is a shuttle to the train station. I don't see what could be better than this . Better to book half board because there is nothing nearby to provide food. Unless you have a car or book a taxi. An absolute awesome stay.

Spacious room, great facilities and views, value for price. Airport shuttle bus dropping by this hotel was very convenient.

Location was superb it is just inside arcade and my room window was facing to mountain side and city view was beautiful from there. Staff was very good she helped me and book ferry for me to shimbara Nagasaki and located clearly how to get the shuttle bus. Room hygiene was superb. I loved it for sure will stay again if i visit to kumamoto again.
