The room was awesome. Bathroom outdoor was really nice. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to spend time in Sigiriya and the temple caves. You can also relax on the pool and the food at the hotel was really good, breakfast was super. The personnel working at the hotel were really kind and helpful.

We hired a scooter and were povided with great local recommendations. The breakfasts were amazing and varied each morning. Beautiful gardens to relax in and the room had the added bonus of air con. 10/10 all around stay!

Offering a garden, Sun and Green Lodge is situated in Dambulla. Dambulla Cave Temple is 5 km from the property while Sigiriya is 9 km away. Free WiFi is offered . Gayani and Neil were exceptional hosts - they helped us arrange private cars to visit Sigiriya, Polonnawura and Pidurangala, as well as a transfer from Dambulla to Kandy. The breakfast was delicious and prepared for whatever time we requested. Dinner is also available and is very tasty! The property is great value for money and even though it's on a main road and I could hear traffic from the room this didn't prevent me from sleeping. The property also has items for sale such as water and clothing appropriate for visiting temples. The pool is also very clean. Overall I would recommend this property as a good base for visiting nearby attractions/cities.

Set amidst a natural landscape, Back of Beyond – Pidurangala offers a peaceful getaway in Sigiriya. Absolutely fantastic stay. So calm and beautiful. All staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are it’s own experience. Great experience of being in a wild and feeling more then comfortable- great food, hot water. Location is great as well - hidden in the forest and short walking distance to main sights. The only mistake we’ve made is staying there for one night only

Set in Matale and only 44 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall, Heavens Acres Lodge offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The lodge had a beautiful and peaceful garden filled with trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, including pots, pans, a gas cooker, fridge, and washing machine. The rooms were also nicely arranged and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Overall, it was the best stay we've ever had.

Spiritual Nature Farm - Sri Lanka features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Matale, 29 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. I give a 10 not for the accommodation, which was really simple, but for the real and raw experience of living a couple of days together with Niro, Umanga and their family. We saw the beautiful sides as their hospitality, the stunning nature, good organic food. But we also saw the struggle and need for financial support as they lost their original land (some photos are still from the old land) and termites are breaking their home. They have good intentions, trying not only to help themselves, but having worked together with the school in the village and helped people build their homes. Right now they need help on their own home. So if you'd like to get to know them and support them, come and check out their place.

Situated in Sigiriya, 1.1 km from Sigiriya Rock and 3.9 km from Pidurangala Rock, The Jungle Path Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with a terrace. This was one of our best places we stayed in Sri Lanka! The host -amazing, smiling, helpful person. The best breakfasts we had in Sri Lanka. We loved the place - it was in the jungle so we heard a lot of birds, not cars. The place was really really CLEAN. We really regret we could not stay longer there.

Free WiFi is provided. sigiriya hillside view villas -lovely place and location -very clean bathroom and bedroom -they provide mosquito nets and a thin cloth to cover for sleeping -towels are provided -there is a fan in the rooms ⁃ well maintained beautiful garden ⁃ We asked for fruits prior to our arrival and they gave us fruits with our breakfast (which we paid extra for) ⁃ good fast wifi ⁃ Sadeepa’s mum is very talented and provides a lovely fresh cooked breakfast ⁃ helpful, respectful and friendly owners ⁃ peaceful environment next to big paddy fields with stunning views. ⁃ you can even see sigiriya rock whilst sitting and eating your breakfast on the front porch. ⁃ it can be difficult to locate at night time but as long as you keep an eye out for the signs you will be able to find it. When we were stuck Sadeepa came and directed us to the place quickly. ⁃ Sadeepa helped us find a nice local national park mineera (only half an hour away by car) where we could get a safari experience and see nature in its natural form. ⁃ stellar service while only being one call away. ⁃ The whole family including the grandparents came and greeted us when we were leaving, it really made us feel like we were at home. Overall, it’s a 10/10 for my family and I. It was a wonderful experience and we would love to come again.
